Calene Richards, Esq., is the Executive Manager and Clinical Director of Public Guardian Services, where she provides legal and clinical guidance across guardianship operations. In her role, Calene supports Care Managers in delivering high-quality, person-centered services while ensuring compliance with the legal and ethical responsibilities of guardianship. She works closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote best practices, informed decision-making, and positive outcomes for the individuals served by the organization.

Calene earned her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts. Following her admission to the Massachusetts Bar, she built her career in human services, gaining extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations. Her professional interests include guardianship law, healthcare decision-making, substituted judgment matters, and advancing person-centered approaches to care and advocacy.
